Hi Maren, Any apple tree is likely to have both BT Possums and Black/Roof/Ship Rats in it and could also have visits from Grey Headed Flying Foxes. I cant guess the scale here (which matters a lot in this case) but they look like rat droppings. So I have not confirmed your sighting, yet. The key question is how big are those scats?

Hi @Maren are you able to give more information on the size of the scats?

Hi Don, they were about 20 mm long. Much bigger than rat droppings I've seen around here, though I don't know about native rats.
